She is originally from Transylvania, Romania, a land full of mysteries and tradition, but she grew up in Spain, a country full of culture and art.
We are always looking for fun and creative ways to show our work through the identity of an artist, and that is why we fell in love with Alina's Illustrations. We asked her to tell us a bit about her work and how she connects philosophy and literature to her illustrations. Now that she is exploring this free-hand style, she told us that through this style of illustrating she believes she is making a personal critique of the perfect and superficial notion of today's society.
Even though she is super talented, she also told us that to follow her dream to work in the creative industry was difficult. She had to make many sacrifices, such as leaving her life in Spain and starting a new life back in Romania. She sacrificed many nights and time away from family and friends, but in the end, it was without a doubt worth it.
Based on the sacrifices we all have to make, to thrive in the creative industry, A Lot Studio wants to tell the story of the people who put their hearts into creating amazing work. We hope Alina inspires you as much as she inspired us to continue to show the value of the artists entering the creative industry.
